Original prints, artists’ books, cards, editioned wearables, live printmaking demonstrations, food truck, and raffle!
This year marks Zea Mays Printmaking’s 10th and open to the public, visitors are invited to view and purchase original fine art prints, artists’ books, cards, editioned wearables, and other print ephemera. The sale provides a great opportunity to get an early start on affordable and creative holiday gift shopping.
Live printmaking demonstrations throughout the weekend will feature some of the printmaking techniques taught at Zea Mays Printmaking:
Saturday, November 8 at 1:30 PM: Larinda Meade will demonstrate intaglio etching
Sunday, November 9 at 1:30 PM: Joyce Silverstone will demonstrate monotype
The Annual Raffle raises money for the Ruth Chalfin Memorial Scholarship Fund, established to assist artists with the costs of studio workshops. This year’s raffle prizes include art supplies, private lessons and critique sessions with Zea Mays Printmaking faculty, a signed book of Kurt Vonnegut's drawings (signed by Nanette Vonnegut, who wrote the intro) and gift certificates to ZMP workshops. Chanterelle To Go (http://www.chanterelletogo.com/) will be onsite providing refreshments and seasonal food from their farm to table food truck.
Print Fair North hours are November 8 + 9, from 10 AM – 5 PM.
Free and open to the public; all ages welcome.
