Crowdsourced Cinema Debuts in Northampton, MA

Northampton Community Television invites you to remake Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Northampton Community Television is proud to announce the debut of the Crowdsourced Cinema project in Northampton, MA. This community filmmaking project will challenge people in the greater Northampton area to join together in remaking Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Crowdsourced Cinema is a community filmmaking project inspired by the likes of Star Wars Uncut where teams or individuals recreate scenes from well-known films and collaboratively engage in art-making.

Participants can use live actors, puppets, animation, stop-motion, or any other creative way to recreate scenes.  This summer the community is recreating Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Teams will have to follow the same script and same time frame of the scenes they receive, but can otherwise interpret creatively. People have from now until June 19th to sign up to participate.

On June 24th groups will be assigned scenes, and you’ll have until August 12th to submit. At the end of the summer, we’ll set a date to screen Crowdsourced Cinema: Raiders of the Lost Ark!
