The Performance Project is honored to perform at the Augusta Savage Gallery as part of their 2015-16 season. Please join us for this free performance featuring selections from Ripple Effect, fo n’ ale (we must go), and NEW work!
The evening will also feature a reading and performance by writer Tim McKee. Tim is the author of No More Strangers Now: Young Voices from a New South Africa, and co-editor of Paper Lanterns: More Quotations from the Back Pages of the Sun, and The Mysterious Life of the Heart: Writing from The Sun about Passion. Longing, and Love.
About the Augusta Savage Gallery
The Augusta Savage Gallery, is a multicultural and multiarts facility founded in 1970 by the Afro-American Studies Department. Its mission is to promote artistic works from a broad spectrum of cultures. Exhibits are selected for their aesthetic integrity and their ability to enlighten the viewer on such issues as race, ethnicity, class, and cultural identity.
