The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Group Sing
Wednesday, June 1, at 7pm
at the Northampton Senior Center.
Free and open to the public

This is Group Sing's 5th year, led by Roy Faudree of No Theater, APE.

Ken Mauri will be back at the piano accompanying the Group sing-along of rock, pop, old standards, and folk songs of the 20th Century.  It’s for singers and non-singers alike. Although designed for the 50 and over crowd, the Group Sing is free and open to all ages.

The Group Sing at the Northampton Senior Center is two hours of singing, just for the enjoyment of singing with others.

For more information or to be placed on the contact list, email NorthamptonGroupSing@gmail.com . The Northampton Senior Center is located at 67 Conz Street in Northampton, Massachusetts, phone (413) 587-1228.  Lots of free parking!

Group Sing is funded in part by the Northampton Senior Services.  In past years Group Sing has relied on funding from the Northampton Arts Council.
