The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. 6x6 will run from July 10 - August 20
and will feature six innovative projects at A.P.E.  that investigate
the relationship between the public, the work, and the space in which it is made.

This Week:

WRITTEN ON THE BODY: drawing, moving
Jim Coleman, Terese Freedman and Neal Parks

Click HERE for a complete listing of their events and gallery hours.
Monday-Thursday from 4-6pm the public is welcome to join in! Participants will have the opportunity to move freely across the gallery wall while visual artist Neal Parks “traces” their movement action on paper. This “tracing” is simultaneously video-projected onto their bodies in real time, as they move across the wall.
