The Northampton Arts Council is a city board and a non-profit organization whose goal is to support and promote the arts in Northampton. Originally created as a Local Arts Lottery Council, it began its work by administering a grants program in which proceeds from a state lottery are distributed to local artists, arts groups, and public schools.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: PRINT FAIR NORTH 2016 PRINT FESTIVAL


Registration is now open for Print Fair North 2016. We have a new venue this year, right in downtown Northampton, and tables are going fast.

DETAILS:
Print Fair North, sponsored by Zea Mays Printmaking and the Northampton Arts Council in conjunction with Northampton Print and Book Fair and Big Ink, will provide a venue for printmakers and print studios to showcase and sell work to the public. Individual artists as well as area printmaking studios and groups are invited to participate.

WHEN
Sunday, October 2, 2016 10am - 5pm

WHERE
Downtown Northampton, in the plaza behind Thorne's Marketplace

WHAT YOU CAN SELL
Original works in all printmaking media including etching, silkscreen, relief prints, lithographs, collagraphs, monoprints, original digital prints, mixed printmaking media, artist’s books, zines, and three-dimensional prints may be sold at Print Fair North. Reproductions of artwork originally produced in another medium (including reproductions of original prints) will not be accepted.

FEES
Individual Artists: $125 per table, $75 per half table
Groups, Studios, Businesses: $200 per table

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Final deadline for registration is July 20. We will be accepting artists on a rolling basis, so the fair may be full before the deadline.
