The Northampton Arts Council invites you to a special presentation of three films directed by Wes Anderson starting Friday September 23rd and going through Sunday September 25th at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton. Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou will be projected on the big screen at the recently renovated majestic 19th century theatre, which has the honor of being the oldest municipally owned theater in the United States. “Wes Anderson's mind must be an exciting place for a story idea to be born. It immediately becomes more than a series of events and is transformed into a world with its own rules, in which everything is driven by emotions and desires as convincing as they are magical.” -Roger Ebert
