2 BEHOLD Paintings by Kate Childs & Laura Radwell at A.P.E

2 BEHOLD
Feeling figured into landscape
Paintings by Kate Childs & Laura Radwell

May 4 - 28
Artist Reception: May 12: 5-8 pm, Arts Night Out
A.P.E Gallery, 126 Main Street Northampton, MA

The exhibition features abstract landscape works by Kate Childs and Laura Radwell, two artists with two different visions, conjured from within in contemplation of the world without. Childs’ work communicates peace and calm, a sense of quietude. Radwell’s work contains movement, hints of changing conditions, and surprising elements. Her surroundings are more ambiguous and weathered than Childs’ more romantic, dreamlike locales. Both paint with oil on canvas.
