The Northampton Arts Council is a city board and a non-profit organization whose goal is to support and promote the arts in Northampton. Originally created as a Local Arts Lottery Council, it began its work by administering a grants program in which proceeds from a state lottery are distributed to local artists, arts groups, and public schools.

RETROFAIRE 2017 Call to Vendors

The Northampton Arts Council invites vendors of vinyl records and other vintage wares to apply to our 4th Annual RETROFAIRE.

RETROFAIRE takes place on Saturday September 9, 2017 in downtown Northampton at the area between Thornes Market and the Parking Garage. This year the event will feature a variety of Dj's spinning vinyl.

The open-air market is produced by the Northampton Arts Council. Our goal is to showcase the most creative artisans, unique retro clothing vendors, and hard-to-find vintage instruments and vinyl albums. All proceeds benefit the Northampton Arts Council’s BJ Goodwin Grant. A grant designed to provide direct assistance to a Northampton-based artist, writer or arts organization in recognition of exceptional work and to support the further development of artistic talents.

We would love to have you and your records and wares present, the vendor fee is only $75 for a 10ft x 10ft space or $40 for a half table (you must have a vendor friend to share the space with). Vending spots are limited so please don’t wait, if you are interested and would like more information please feel free to contact Peter McQuillan, Assistant Producer, Northampton Arts Council, 413-563-0162,
