Forbes Library Open on Saturdays this Summer

Forbes Library will remain open on Saturdays in July and August for the first time in 10 years. These restored hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, will improve access to the library over the summer, and are made possible by stabilized city funding and savings in other areas. In a community survey conducted last year, increased hours were cited as a top priority. “We are so pleased to bring Saturdays back. The community depends on the library in all seasons,” said Lisa Downing, Library Director.
