WHAT: AUDITIONS for the WORLD PREMIERE MUSICAL this fall at Smith College: MOONLIGHT ON THE MISKATONIC
WHEN: Saturday, September 8, 2-5 PM and 7-10 PM, and Tuesday, September 11, 7-10 PM
WHERE: Acting Studio 1, Smith College Theatre Department, 122 Green St, Northampton, MA
Callbacks will be Wednesday, September 12, 7-10 PM in Theatre 14.
No appointment necessary. Auditions will be first come, first served. Please sign in upon arrival. Please come in clothes you can move in, and warm up to sing before you arrive. Actors with special skills encouraged to audition.
Performances will be October 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 at 7:30 PM in Theatre 14.
For Singing Audition:
16 bars of prepared audition song with sheet music in your key.
Actors interested in being considered for the following roles should also be prepare to sing music from the show:
For principal roles (other than Peaslee): please learn 16 measures of One Last Grand Adventure from Act I (music and accompaniment available soon)
For Peaslee: EITHER some kind of prepared patter song (G&S) OR 16 bars of Peaslee's Song from Act I (music and accompaniment available soon)
For Acting Audition:
Sides from the script will be provided. Perusal scripts will be available for 3-hour checkout from Josten Library.

SEDGE, SARAH, ELLIOTT, and TOBY
FOUR principal women's (or treble/any gender) roles all of whom can be mezzo-soprano, with some leaning higher or lower than others
PEASLEE
preferably male and tenor or high baritone
DEAN PIERCE
any gender
ARCHIVIST
non speaking non singing role any gender
CHORUS
10 or more - any voice part
multiple ensemble roles, singing and non singing.
