The Northampton Arts Council is an organization whose goal is to support and promote the arts in Northampton. Originally created as a Local Arts Lottery Council, it began its work by administering a grants program in which proceeds from a state lottery are distributed to local artists, arts groups, and public schools.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 7th from 7:30 to 8:30 followed by the open jazz jam session

We are thrilled to welcome back Erena Terakubo for her fourth appearance with us at the Workshop and happy she could make time in her busy schedule. Last weekend, Erena played three nights as a member of the Kenny Barron Quartet (that's right-Kenny, Jonathan Blake, Kiyoshi Kitagawa and Erena) at Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center and we are so happy for her.
