The Northampton Arts Council is an organization whose goal is to support and promote the arts in Northampton. Originally created as a Local Arts Lottery Council, it began its work by administering a grants program in which proceeds from a state lottery are distributed to local artists, arts groups, and public schools.

Overtures and Arias featuring the Panopera Orchestra


The Northampton Arts Council Presents, as part of Four Sundays in February, a 32 piece live Orchestra featuring the Panopera Orchestra and soloists in a concert playing a variety of operatic favorites. Two hours of music by Mozart, Bizet, Donizetti, Verdi, Purcell and Wagner, featuring Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Sandra Piques Eddy as Carmen.

When: Saturday, February 8th – 2:00 PM Showtime, Doors Open at 1:30PM
