The Northampton Arts Council is an organization whose goal is to support and promote the arts in Northampton. Originally created as a Local Arts Lottery Council, it began its work by administering a grants program in which proceeds from a state lottery are distributed to local artists, arts groups, and public schools.

In honor of the 10-year anniversary of the Northampton Jazz Workshop and Jazz Appreciation Month in April, the Northampton Jazz Festival is holding the Jazz Brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Delaney House, 3 Country Club Road in Holyoke, MA.

NEPR's Jazz a la Mode Host, Tom Reney will be our host for the event!

The weekly Northampton Jazz Workshop, led by Paul Arslanian, has been in continuous operation since its start at the Green Street Cafe in April of 2010; 500+ concerts with a guest artist followed by a jazz jam.

Join us and the members of the Green St. Trio - Paul Arslanian on piano, George Kaye on bass, and Jon Fisher on drums - for this celebratory performance with the great Houston Person at the Jazz Brunch on April 5.
