The Arts Council awarded $19,580 during its spring round of funding in the following categories: dance, film/video, literature, mixed media, music, schools, theater, and visual arts. The caliber of applications this round was outstanding, and we were unable to fund many worthy projects. The Arts Council received 57 requests for funding over $103,000. These grants were awarded from a pool of funds raised by the Northampton Arts Council’s Transperformance 17 (August 2007) and Four Sundays in February ’08 series.
