Kyle John, “The Seed”

In conjunction with Northampton’s Arts Night Out, on Friday July 8th, UNITE will host a gallery reception for local artist Kyle John from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served. Kyle’s work will be on display and for sale until August 10th.

Kyle’s work acts as a mirror, invoking the aesthetic sense of harmony inherent in all viewers. He deploys a balance of black and white imagery and negative space, highlighted by warm organic color ways to imbibe onlookers with a sense of familiarity, and a degree of nostalgia. His imagery is universal; a balance of organic growth and man made iconography, challenged by otherwise illogical symbols from various fantastic origins.
