7 LOCAL ARTISTS will be chosen to design art for 3 windows, 72' x 42' (or 52' x 42') for opening exhibition of Community Art Windows, an open-air gallery behind Big Y on Cooke Ave in Northampton, MA. The windows are locked and lit, and receive intense sunlight.

The chosen artists must also be interested in working with school children, as they will also give a master class to an art class in a local public school.

The show will hang 6 months, Sept - March, then be replaced by art from a local public school. The theme this year is FOOD, from whatever angle you choose. Community Arts Partners is dedicated to bridging schools and communities through the arts. Artwork should be appropriate for general public, including small children.
