The Northampton Arts Council presents Transperformance 20: Body Parts at Look Park, Florence, MA – Tuesday August 31, 2010

Many of the area’s finest bands will come together to celebrate our bodies and our selves. Come hear bands you know and love become other bands you know and love!  King Radio as the Flaming Lips, Ed Vadas as Lead Belly, Young@Heart with Lux Deluxe as the Talking Heads, our very own Mayor Clare Higgins as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and many more. Local restaurants will provide food that is good and good for you. Of course, there will be dancing.

So bring your body and some body else over for the 20th Anniversary of Transperformance on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, 4:00PM-9:30 PM, gates open at 3:00 PM, at Look Park in Florence, MA (Rain date: Wednesday, September 1, 2010. If rain is predicted for both days, find us on Tuesday, August 31 at the Northampton High School).

Tickets: Adults - $8 in advance ($10 at the door); Seniors - $5; Kids under 12 - $3. Advance ticket sales online at northamptonartscouncil.org or call 413-587-1069 or in person in Northampton at State Street Fruit Store and in Florence at Cooper's Corner.

Look Park charges a $5 special events vehicle entry fee for all vehicles without season passes. No pets, no coolers, no beverages, please per request of Look Park.
