Initially, the film was a school assignment but it became very personal to me as it progressed. I harbored a lot of sad, scared feelings about my mother's health, even after she recovered, and this film was a great therapeutic experience for me. I got to show my mother how much I love her and appreciate her strength. I really admire her courage, and I think the film's message is a great one: You never know when you'll be cut short, so do your best to live the good life.
