July 31st, 2009 Files for Download Look Park, Florence, MA – Tuesday August 25, 2009 – The Northampton Arts Council presents “LookStock”. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock music festival, LookStock will be one incredible night of fun and music. Tickets will be available at the door on a first come, first serve basis. Many of the area’s finest bands will come together to revive and recreate the sights and sounds of Woodstock, performing as twenty-three of the original bands. The original promo poster featured a dove on a guitar and Arnold Skolnick, the original artist, has designed the LookStock poster with a dove playing the guitar. It’s a beautiful play on this playful event. Local restaurants will provide tasty food on what will hopefully be a warm starry night. We hope you can join us at LookStock, and if you were at those three days of peace and music. We are looking for stories from the original Woodstock - what you saw, what you heard, what you felt - to recreate the spirit of the Aquarian Exposition at Northampton's own summer festival.
