Besides directing the Young@Heart Chorus, Bob Cilman is also the Executive Director of the Northampton Arts Council where he presents a broad range of arts events at the historic Academy of Music Theatre. Cilman was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He spent a couple of years at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and eventually received a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in American History, but has learned much more from the members of the Young@Heart Chorus. He is married to furniture maker Polly Cassel and they have two daughters, Stella and Eva.

Since 2001, Sondra has worked part-time for the Northampton Arts Council as arts administrator. Sondra grew up in Connecticut and resides in Northampton, Massachusetts. She holds her M.F.A. in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and she graduated as an Ada Comstock Scholar from Smith College with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1998. Since 2004, she has also worked as a teaching assistant in the art history department at Smith College. Ms. Peron is on the faculty at Springfield Technical Community College and Holyoke Community College where she teaches photography. http://www.sondraperon.com
