Greene Hall, (near 68 Elm Street) Smith College, Northampton, MA Traditionally, the first Sunday in February is a time to celebrate collegiate a cappella in the sold-out 2,000-seat JMG Hall at Smith College. This year we showcase some fabulous groups with national reputations: The Dartmouth Aires, Pitch Slapped from Berklee College, UPENN Dischord, Trinity College Quirks, Smith College Noteables, Brown University Jabberwocks and The Doo Wop Shop of UMASS. Great local bands created the core of the club. For the “Feb Series,” some of those bands will come from as far away as London to reunite. For an amazing trip back we present Fat, Real Tears, the Mitch Chakour Band , and nearly all the members of Clean Living. There will be plenty of memorabilia and stories galore. The film follows the lives of the 12 to 18-year-old performers, which captures their intense work ethic, passion for performance, deep friendships, and budding loves. The film has won awards at festivals in Seattle, Boston, Toronto, and elsewhere. This is the Valley premiere. Director Signe Taylor will be on hand for a Q&A after the film, and the film will be preceded by performances from the clowns, aerialists and other amazing performers who are featured in the film. The week is dedicated to films that you are unlikely to find on TV, including some great foreign films. The week culminated with YouthFilm, films made by local youth who are at the beginning of their budding careers. Tickets $3 at the door only

Tom Mahnken of Trailer Park and Unit 7 fame returns after his smashing debut last year impersonating Ed Sullivan. This is the first ever encore performance of an Ed impersonator in the Really Big Show’s twenty-one-year history. Ed will introduce the following acts: Starring: Trailer Park - a ten-legged rock and roll machine Jennifer Guglielmo - author Heather Maloney - singer-songwriter The Harmaniacs - eclectic harmonica trio Double Vision -a modern Buster Keaton and Lucille Ball.
