The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Art on the Menu

This year’s show will feature 25 visual, performance and musical artists who all work in Northampton restaurants. Join us for appetizers, drinks, and announcements.

WHEN: Wednesday October 21st
6-7pm: Opening and reception &  7- 11pm: Performances and mingling

WHERE: The Parlor Room, 24 Masonic St. Northampton

You can find the FB Page here and can RSVP here. You don't need tickets in advance but it does help us know how much food and booze to get :)

This event showcases the many talents of the workers who fuel the day to day of our downtown restaurant scene. These restaurant workers are parents, immigrants, artists, musicians, students and much more. Come show your support for them and learn about ongoing ways that we can grow a just and sustainable local food system that works for everyone!
Suggested donation: $10-25—but all are welcome, and no one turned away for lack of funds
