Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, a program of CHD, made their first match in 1975. In these 40 years, over 2,000 kids (aged 6-16) have been matched with mentors through our program. A Mentor (Big) brings a different experience to the child’s (Little) life. The mission is simple: Be there for a child, listen unconditionally, be a friend, have fun. This photo exhibit presents a view of 20 of these matches. You can see images of Bigs and Littles. Some matches have been together for over 25 years, some have only been recently matched. We asked each pair to give us a view into who they are as a match. The warmth, the smiles, the caring that show through in all of these provides insight into what Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about. We hope you will enjoy them.

Venice is a longing . . . For photographer Carol Duke this yearning was finally realized in the year 2012. From a body of work containing more than 4,000 images captured during her sixteen-day stay, Carol has selected twenty-five to exhibit. Her collection recounts observations of the earthy colors, unique architecture and watery atmosphere which together contribute to the mysterious and dreamy essence that is Venice, Italy.
