Mass Audubon’s Sixth Statewide Photo Contest

November - 2016 at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary

127 Combs Rd., Easthampton, MA

Free Event

Mass Audubon’s sixth statewide photo contest produced remarkable photographs that revealed the inspiring beauty of Massachusetts, from a charming weasel to a vibrant endangered flower to a sunning snake.

This exhibit showcases the Grand Prize winner and the 12 additional winners who had taken first place in seven subject categories (Birds, Mammals, Other Wildlife, Plants & Fungi, Landscapes, People in Nature, and Travel) across two levels (18 and over & Under 18). Eight honorable mentions are also featured.

Each year, we are in awe of the images entered. And each year, we embark on the challenging task to select the images that best represent the beauty and diversity of nature in Massachusetts.

With some 2,000 images to deliberate, the judging process was no easy task. But we are happy to announce that we have selected the winners of this year’s contest.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks again to everyone who participated.
