The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

NHS Student Art Show at Hosmer Gallery

The Hosmer Gallery at Forbes Library presents the 2017 Northampton High School Student Art Exhibition. Public Reception on Arts Night Out, Friday May 12th from 4:00-7:00 PM.
20 West St Northampton, Massachusetts

Student artwork from the Foundations of Art, Drawing & Painting 1 & 2, Ceramics 1, Sculpture and Honors Art 1-4 classes at Northampton High School will be exhibited.

The selection of artwork is curated by teachers Lisa Leary and Sheryl Jaffe, who collectively teach approximately 200 students each year.
