The Northampton Arts Council believes bringing members of our regional community to downtown Northampton is really important. Providing diverse, live, and free arts programming is both central to downtown Northampton’s identity as a cultural district and a critical draw in encouraging residents from the Pioneer Valley and beyond to visit our unique city. We also believe you think it’s important, too.
How do we enjoy long summer nights in downtown Northampton’s Paradise City Cultural District? With free live music of course! Namely the Downtown Northampton Summer Concert Series! This year, the Northampton Arts Council will present FIVE live music concerts with FREE ADMISSION; THREE at Pulaski Park and TWO on the Hampshire County Courthouse Lawn. The concerts will take place on Friday July 20, Friday July 27, Friday August 3, Friday August 10, and Friday August 17. All the shows start at 5:30 PM.
