The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

WHAT: The Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative’s Fall Arts and Humanities Internship Fair 
WHERE: UMass Amherst Fine Arts Center Atrium, 151 Presidents Dr, Amherst, MA
WHEN: Thursday, October 11 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Save the date! The Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative’s Fall Arts and Humanities Internship Fair will be on Thursday, October 11 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM at the UMass Amherst Fine Arts Center Atrium. The fair will be an opportunity for you to meet prospective interns in our studio arts, art history, theatre, music, dance, history, and arts management programs. Students will be looking for internships for the fall and spring semesters. Our fairs average over 150 students in attendance!

A formal invitation, with further details will follow in late August. To reserve a space in the fair, submit an internship posting by Thursday October 4 to aes@acad.umass.edu. If you already have an internship posted on our website, just let us know you are RSVPing to attend at aes@acad.umass.edu

Space is limited at the fair, so be sure to get your post in early!
