The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, Silverthorne Theater is proud to present Humorist and Storyteller DYLAN BRODY’s special benefit performance in the Hawks & Reed Ballroom of THE GREATEST SHOW EVER: Hilarious Stories and Poignant Meditations on the World We Share.  Mr. Brody describes this full evening of comedy as the “long-awaited follow-up to his 2009 hit show, More Arts/Less Martial.”
Attendees will have a choice of intimate stage-front table seating, or theater seating. When they arrive, they will walk the red carpet in front of Hawks & Reed, and smile for the paparazzi! )  Anyone buying their ticket online by October 20 will be eligible to win a free limousine ride to and from the Event (donated by West County Limos.) Centennial House Bed & Breakfast in Northfield will provide housing for Mr. Brody during his stay.
