The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Save the Date: Community Sync-Up

WHAT: Community Sync-Up
WHEN: Tuesday, March, 19, 8:45-10:00am
WHERE: Northampton Center for the Arts, 33 Hawley St, Northampton, MA

The work of our organization grows from a focus on community prosperity – an overarching scope that includes marketing the region to visitors, collaborating with city and local officials to support plans for growth, and providing resources to small businesses.

This meeting will feature leaders from the Hampshire County Regional Tourism Council, the Downtown Northampton Association and The Chamber. We'd like to answer your questions about our work to support the vitality of downtown and the regional hospitality industry – and most importantly, to hear about your priorities. We promise no PowerPoint presentations. Instead, join us for a lively conversation with other business people from the Downtown and Hospitality community.
