The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Northampton Community Music Center Faculty Concert

WHAT: Northampton Community Music Center Faculty Concert
WHERE: Feinstein Hall 139 South Street Northampton, MA.
WHEN: Sunday, October 6th 1:00-2:00 PM

The Northampton Community Music Center will present a faculty concert on Sunday, October 6. Music by Mozart, Brahms, Schumann and Hindemith. Featuring: Gregory Diehl, Violin. Capella Sherwood, viola. Anne Werry, cello. Sandy Dennis, piano.

The Hampshire Music Club’s Musical Potpourri will debut this Wednesday, October 2nd, 10 a.m., at the Northampton Senior Center. It will feature Judith Gordon. You may sign up at the door if you have not already registered. The cost for the series is $50 for the five sessions, or $15 each, payable by cash or check.
