Zea Mays Printmaking: Internship Openings 2020

Zea Mays Printmaking is accepting applications for our 2020 Spring/Summer Internship Program

Our interns spend six months doing primary research into safer and non-toxic printmaking processes and help with a wide range of workshops. Our summer interns spend more time helping with intensive workshops. During and after their internship, interns receive a one-year full studio membership to work on their own art utilizing the wonderful printmaking facilities and art community at Zea Mays Printmaking.

We are looking for interns for:
March - August 2020 (application deadline December 1, 2019)
September 2020 - February 2021 (application deadline April 1, 2020)

We are looking for people who have printmaking experience, a deep interest in safer and non-toxic processes and a desire to contribute to a research based studio. We prefer interns who have a B.A. with a printmaking emphasis, but are happy to consider printmakers who've taken an alternative route to learning the medium.
