The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Ali Osborn and Fern Apfel at PULP


WHAT: Works by Ali Osborn and Fern Apfel

WHEN: Saturday, January 18, from 5-8pm.

Ali Osborn recently finished eight drawings (including the above) that depict tools used for erasure, removal, correction, and stoppage. These will be showing alongside paintings by Fern Apfel at PULP in Holyoke, MA. The opening is Saturday, January 18, from 5-8pm. 80 Race Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.

At the end of 2019, Osborn had a visual essay called "Signbacks" published in the journal Design and Culture. Here is a link.
