The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

All events will take place in Pulaski Park and admission is free for all!

Come out to enjoy long summer nights in Downtown Northampton with free live music in Pulaski Park! The Northampton Arts Council, in its sixth year of presenting concerts in the Park, continues a long-held musical tradition that dates back to the 1970's. Join us for live music and dancing in our beautiful park. We are presenting six shows this summer in July, August, and September. Shows start at 5:30pm and go until 7:30pm.

Outdoor concerts on summer nights in downtown Northampton is a tradition that dates back to the 1970s. Since that time, Northampton has been fertile ground for producing unique original music, often renowned on the national level. The lineup for the 2021 series reflects this trend and will showcase acts of varying age & style to each other and the community at large. This year, the Northampton Arts Council is producing the summer series in what promises to be the best summer yet!
