The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Northampton Record Swaps

WHAT: Northampton Record Swaps 
WHERE: 1 Kirkland Ave. (Plaza behind Thorne’s Marketplace)
WHEN: July 25, August 15, and September 19, 10-4PM. 

For music lovers of all ages, Northampton Record Swaps will be held outside on the Plaza behind Thorne’s Marketplace in beautiful downtown Northampton.

Local and regional record dealers are bringing out thousands of vinyl records and CDs for sale. Every 3rd Sunday of the month, all summer long! 10-4PM. Rain dates will be the following Sundays, if we are postponed due to weather.

The first sale has been moved to the rain date of July 25 with more sales this summer on August 15, and September 19.

DJs will be spinning vinyl throughout the Swaps. Free admission, all ages!

The Plaza is 1 Kirkland Ave, right next to the Northampton Parking Garage, where the weekly farmer’s market is held every Tuesday.
