Calling all local artists and artisans! Join us for the first annual Northampton Artisan Fair! Are you an established artist looking to connect with the Northampton art community? Are you an emerging artist looking for an opportunity to broaden your reach? We are here to help! On Saturday, November 27th (Small Business Saturday), the Northampton Center for the Arts will host a building-wide artisan fair in the beautiful spaces at 33 Hawley St. This fair will be juried for diversity of medium and experience, and applications are due September 7th, 2021.
How to Apply:
Fill out this online application form
Email three hi-resolution jpeg images to programs@nohoarts.org; make sure image names identify the artist.
Please note: all art must be made locally; please email programs@nohoarts.org if you have questions about this. Artists from the region are welcome to apply, but priority will be given to artists and artisans from western MA and the CT River Valley.
What We Provide:
Three types of spaces at the fair
a 10x10 space - $120
a 6’ space with table provided - $60
a 6’ space without a table - $50
(Emerging artists may apply for Community Fund support if cost is prohibitive)
Day-of staff support
Marketing and publicity
Bus banner
Social media (Followers: Instagram 1.5K+, Facebook 4.6K+, weekly reach 5K+)
Posters and postcards
Mailchimp/email outreach (1K+)
Publicity text and images provided to artists for outreach
Local business partnerships
Abundant free parking for fair attendees
