The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Florence Night Out


WHAT: Florence Night Out 
WHERE: Various locations in the center of Florence, MA 
WHEN: September 25 4:00-10:00 PM

Florence Night Out (FNO) returns September 25 with a vibrant mix of live music with local bands, an open-air artisan market, interactive family-friendly fun, independent walking tours of site-specific art installations, and film screenings. We’ll even unveil an artist-designed custom crosswalk. The block party takes place from 4-7pm, a film screening will from 7-8pm, and afterparty will close out the night from 8-10pm

Florence Night Out (FNO) is a FREE event that celebrates community through creativity in downtown Florence, Massachusetts. Started on September 26, 2013 by local artist Donnabelle Casis, FNO has attracted over 1,000 lovers of art, music, dance, film, performance and local businesses to each event. FNO is an unprecedented event in the history of the hamlet. Florence Night Out returns this fall for an in-person festival. Join us September 25 for the vibrant mix of live music, visual art, and family-friendly fun you love about FNO.
