The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Silver Chord Bowl 2022

The Silver Chord Bowl, in its 38th year, is the oldest and most respected collegiate a cappella showcase in the region. The Academy of Music Theatre in Downtown Northampton will host this year’s event. It begins with a performance by Northampton High School’s very own Northamptones, followed by performances by 6 groups from colleges and universities around the Northeast.

When: Sunday, February 6 – 2:00PM Showtime, Doors Open at 1:30 PM

Advance Prices: Premium Assigned Seating All Ages - $35 General Admission All Ages - $15;
