The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

What’s a 3 Ring Ruckus. We’re glad you asked:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County is taking over the huge parking lot at LIA Toyota Northampton on Sunday, September 25th .

This community event brings together Pioneer Valley’s best home vendors highlighting their offerings and services, family entertainment featuring Pioneer Valley Jump Rope Team, juggling from VillageWise, a corn shucking contest, a bubble zone for kids, games, pumpkin painting, and so much more. Live music by Rosie Porter & The Neon Moons, Local Burgy and Ginger Love Café food trucks, cider inspired snacks, 3 types of raffles, and a New England car show round-up the three ring event. Promoted by iHeart media on 4 area radio stations, and the combined email list of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, and Lia Toyota, assure great exposer and attendance. Severe weather postpones until early summer.


·        We are seeking  a few artists to use non-oil based soft chalk/pastels in a solid form to create art pieces in an area designated for chalk art installation.

·        The event is from 11-3 your arrival time can be scheduled at your convenience with our organizer

·        We provide payment of $100 and lunch from either food truck – Local Burgy or Ginger Love Café.

·        We will promote you on our social media platforms.
