MICA: Mothers Institute for Collaboration and Art

MICA: Mothers Institute for Collaboration and Art is a new organization that spotlights and supports the work of artistic mothers. We're hosting an inaugural arts festival from October 28-30, 2022, at Northampton Center for the Arts and currently accepting applications for live performances. Mothers who are comics, dancers, musicians, and performers are invited to showcase their work. We are offering $100 stipends for each solo performer, up to $500 per group.

We are particularly interested in showcasing the diversity of experiences among artistic mothers. We would love to include more mothers who identify as BIPOC or hold historically excluded identities in our program. If you'd like to apply, please visit our artist event page or email Lyza at with any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!
