EBT Card to Culture
Participating cultural organizations throughout Massachusetts offer a regularly available, discounted or free, admission, or tuition to EBT card holders.

WIC Card to Culture

COVID-19 Relief Fund for Individuals
Grants of $1,000 to people who have lost income derived from their work as individual artists and independent teaching artists/humanists/scientists as a direct result of COVID-19 related cancellations and closures in Massachusetts.​

Creative Minds Out of School
An arts-based training, coaching, and professional development program through which participants learn to use the Creative Minds Out of School curriculum.

Cultural Districts
An initiative to allow communities to create state-sponsored cultural districts to stimulate new arts and cultural activity and attract creative businesses.

CultureRx Initiative
Advancing the role of culture as a protective factor for the health of everyone in the Commonwealth.

Cultural Facilities Fund
Grants supporting the sound planning and development of cultural facilities.

Cultural Investment Portfolio
Includes unrestricted funding for nonprofit arts, humanities, and interpretive science organizations, and project grant support.

Festivals Program
Grants to help festival programmers meet the needs of producing, promoting, and developing audiences.

Gaming Mitigation
Funding to performing art centers affected by casino gaming in Massachusetts.

Local Cultural Council Program
Local Cultural Councils serving every city and town in Massachusetts offer grants to projects benefiting their community.

New England States Touring Program (NEST)
Support to nonprofits for performances, readings, and related community activities by artists in New England Foundation for the Arts’s NEST Program.

SerHacer
Multi-year grants focused on supporting the growing number of intensive, ensemble-based music programs that use music as a vehicle for social change.

Social Prescription Pilot
A one-year pilot program to reimburse non-profit cultural organizations that accept social prescriptions from professional care providers. Part of our CultureRx Initiative.

STARS Residencies
Grants to schools for residencies of 3 days or more with teaching artists, scientists, scholars, or cultural organizations.

Traditional Arts Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships to support the teaching of traditional arts that are specific to a particular folk group or ethnic community.

Universal Participation Initiative
We’re putting inclusive design at the center of our work with cultural organizations across the Commonwealth.

YouthReach
Multi-year grants to programs that integrate substantive out-of-school arts, humanities, and science opportunities into a collaborative community response to the needs of youth at risk.
