STATUS: 2026 SPRING APPLICATION ROUND IS NOW OPEN

Project Period: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

This year, the Northampton Arts Council is pivoting to a high-impact Micro-Grant model. We will award 15 micro-grants at a flat rate of $500 each. This shift is designed to lower barriers for new applicants and provide streamlined, accessible funding for artists and cultural programmers in Northampton, Florence, and Leeds.

Eligibility & Priorities

Diverse Perspectives: Special consideration for first-time applicants and projects centering BIPOC perspectives.
Accessibility: Priority for projects in accessible spaces with free or discounted admission.
Who Can Apply: Individuals, non-profits, for-profits (public benefit), and municipal entities.

Grantee Requirements

Direct Grant Funding: Approved grantees receive the $500 award upfront. To receive funds, you must submit a completed Grant Agreement and W-9.

Required Credit: You must include the Northampton Arts Council logo on all promotional materials with the statement: "This program is supported by a grant from the Northampton Arts Council."
