FY27 Local Cultural Council Grant Round
Grant awards are determined by the merit of the proposal and the availability of funds. For the FY26 grant cycle, the Northampton Arts Council awarded $22,710. In this past grant rounds, the amount awarded for each grant has ranged from $180 to $1,805. The Arts Council rarely awards the total cost of a project. Organizations and individuals are strongly encouraged to support some expenses with applicant funds, to explore other sources of funding, and to seek in-kind donations of materials and labor. Financial support from multiple sources helps demonstrate the project's feasibility. The Northampton Arts Council was allocated $24,400 for the FY27 LCC grant round.
