Northampton Arts Council Announces2025 ArtsEZ Grant Recipients
The Northampton Arts Council is thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 ArtsEZ Grants. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and the success of our annual fundraising efforts, we awarded a total of $8,000 in grant funding this year to support dynamic arts and cultural projects that will benefit the Northampton community.
This spring’s grant cycle brought in dozens of inspiring proposals from local artists, organizations, and community leaders. After careful review, the Council selected the following projects for funding:
Rachel Stevens, Euphoria (Un)Bound 2026 (Multidisciplinary Arts) – $835
Jennifer Polins, The School for Contemporary Dance & Thought, Inc – Hatchery the Young Artist Project 2026 (Multidisciplinary Arts) – $820
Mary Clare Michael, The Policy Playhouse – The Policy Playhouse (Theater) – $800
Patric Madden, Torch Song Revival Collective – Harvey Fierstein's TORCH SONG, the Revival (Theater) – $800
Shivaraj Natraj, Project Mishram (band) – Project Mishram - Indian Classical Fusion concert (Music) – $800
Natalie Ulrich, Safe Passage – Survivor Anthology Project (Multidisciplinary Arts) – $790
Trevor Powers, Northampton Print & Book Fair – Northampton Print & Book Fair (Visual Arts) – $790
Hannah Moushabeck, Interlink Foundation – Read & Resist Fest (Literature) – $790
Elizabeth Stone – Light Being (Multidisciplinary Arts) – $790
Vanessa Anspaugh – DandyLions & Other Belongings (Dance) – $780
These direct grants are designed to remove barriers for artists and arts organizations by providing upfront funding to launch or expand creative projects.
