Northampton Community & Visitor Perception Survey

The City of Northampton is working with a team of researchers to better understand how people experience this community - what draws people here, what keeps them here, what works, and what doesn’t.

What the survey covers (and what we hope to learn):

• The words, feelings, and ideas people most associate with Northampton

• Perceptions of Northampton from different perspectives (residents, visitors, regional audiences, and people who know the city from afar)

• What motivates people to visit, return, or recommend Northampton and what barriers or frustrations may exist

• Input that will directly inform how Northampton tells its story going forward (to residents, visitors, and prospective residents)

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and responses are completely anonymous. The more perspectives we collect, the more useful and representative the findings will be.
