The Northampton Arts Council works to support and nurture the arts in the city of Northampton. The Council awards grants twice each year to artists and arts groups from both state and locally-raised funds, and seeks to improve public awareness of the arts. Its' goals include maintaining and preserving the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Northampton, programming such annual events of interest to the community as First Night Northampton and Transperformance.

Massachusetts Cultural Council Card to Culture Program

The Northampton Arts Council is pleased to be participating in the Card to Culture program, by extending discounts to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare health plan insurance cardholders. 

Discount includes: EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare health plan insurance cardholders receive FREE admission to any Northampton Arts Council ticketed event we produce.  

Free tickets are given out only on the day of the show. Come to the box office of the show with your EBT/WIC/ConnectorCare card. The box office opens one hour before the show starts.

• EBT: A collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services Department of Transitional Assistance. See the full list of participating organizations online
