Spirit & Song Brings a Day of Community, Connection and Co-Creation to the Shea Theater

Turners Falls, MA — The National Spiritual Alliance (TNSA) will present Spirit & Song, a full day of music, mediumship, history, creativity, and community at the Shea Theater Arts Center on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Spirit & Song brings together spiritual practitioners, local musicians & artists, nonprofit organizations & businesses, and community partners to explore what becomes possible when people share their voices, resources, and creative energy.

The day begins with a Psychic Medium Fair from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering individual 25-minute appointments with participating psychic mediums and energy healers. Afternoon programs will include a talk exploring the history of Lake Pleasant with author David James of Spirit and Spa, followed by a mediumship demonstration with Alicia Parrish, "Synchronicity Sweetheart”.

The evening culminates in Eight Voices, One Stage, a concert featuring original music from the five Artists in Residence and three Artist Mentors of TNSA’s Pond Lily Project. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m.  The Pond Lily Project Artists in Residence are: Carly Lara, Rachel Davis, Matt Emmer, E. Horace Winston III and Lilah Asbornsen.  The Artist Mentors are Tobey Sol LaRoche, Luke DeRoy and Olivia Nied.

Created as a songwriter-in-residence program, the Pond Lily Project has brought artists together over the last several months to write, record, mentor, collaborate, and build relationships across different musical backgrounds and life experiences. The September concert will celebrate both the individual voices of the eight artists and what they have created together.

Spirit & Song reflects TNSA’s larger commitment to building community through partnerships. The event is supported by a growing network of artists, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, cultural partners, volunteers, and community members contributing their time, talents, and resources.

Rather than presenting spirituality as a single belief or path, the event invites people to experience spirit through music, diverse spiritual practices, creativity, reflection, history, human connection, and the act of coming together around a shared purpose.

Proceeds from Spirit & Song will support The National Spiritual Alliance, a 501c3 nonprofit spiritual organization based in historic Lake Pleasant that has created space for spiritual exploration, healing, education, and community since 1913.

Concert tickets are available on a sliding scale beginning at $20. Psychic Medium Fair appointments are $30 for 25 minutes and are sold separately.
